Tandy Miles Riddle

Tandy Miles Riddle’s genius lies in her keen observation of the world. Riddle’s paintings capture the “intrinsic spirit of every thing or every moment” she experiences as she paints and encourage us to see the world in a fresh and novel way. Riddle was born in Coral Gables, Florida, into a world filled with art, as the daughter and neice of practicing artists. She attended The Corcoran School of Art in Washington D.C. and continued her education at Montana State University. Her perceptive and curious mind, and ever-present sense of wonder inform her art which is characterized by expressive brushwork, vibrant color, and sensuous line. Riddle’s recent work features large-scale plein air paintings. A resident of Livingston, Montana, Riddle has exhibited widely and her work is included in numerous collections.
